Bühnenessay über Videokunst, Transsexualismus, den Mond, elektronische
Musik, den Verlust des Techno-Optimismus und das Danach. Denn hätten wir
keine Medien, gäbe es auch keinen Ort für die Sehnsucht. Hier kommen die
Hacker ins Spiel.
Every time a new medium falls into our laps, it harbours
the potentiality of another world. HACKER AUF ESTRADIOL is a speculative
stage essay about video art, transsexualism, the moon, electronic music, the
loss of techno-optimism and the afterlife. Because if we had no media, there
would be no place for longing. This is where the hackers come in.
Im Anschluss findet ein Gespräch zwischen Maria Babusch und Jako Wende über die
historische Unsichtbarmachung von trans*Biographien und die künstlerische Auseinander-
setzung damit statt. Followed by a talk between Maria Babusch and Jako Wende about
the historical invisibilisation of trans* biographies and the artistic confrontation with them.
